# Zoom Plugin SDK

With our Plugin SDK, you can connect your native applications to Zoom Workplace on
macOS or Windows with Inter-Process Communication (IPC). The Plugin SDK offers similar
in-meeting metadata access and control functionality to the Meeting SDK, without requiring
you to bundle and customize a Zoom Meeting client. Instead, your end users can update their
Zoom Workplace on their schedule, while your native apps continue to provide them with a
seamless experience.
