Get credentials

Use your Video SDK credentials (SDK key and SDK secret) to create JSON Web Tokens (JWTs), the authorization mechanism for joining Video SDK sessions.

You can add the SDK product to your existing Zoom Workplace account if you have one. If you don't have a Zoom Workplace account, you can create a new developer account for the Video SDK. Choose a tab and follow the steps to continue.

If you already have a Zoom Workplace account, follow these steps to add Video SDK.

  1. Log into the web portal.

  2. Under ADMIN, select Plans and Billing, Plan Management and add a pricing plan to your Zoom Workplace account.

  3. Once added, click Advanced, Zoom CPaaS, and Manage next to your Universal Credit product. Zoom displays the SDK account page.

  4. Click Build App on the web portal. Your SDK build page will open.

  5. Scroll down to the SDK credentials section and make note of the Video SDK SDK Key and SDK Secret credentials. You will use these to create your SDK JWT.

Note that these are different from the API Key and API Secret, which do not authenticate the SDK.
